Each Deluxe setup gets my 6-step process:
Pre-setup inspection
Check and measure the neck relief, action, and identify any pre-existing issues before the setup.
2. Fret level and dress
Set neck to perfectly straight, then expertly level all frets.
Recrown all frets and polish them to a brilliant shine.
3. Fretboard
Thoroughly clean and condition the fretboard, if required.
4. Setup
Fit fresh strings, set neck relief, set action, adjust saddles to match fretboard radius, and inspect the nut to ensure correct slot depth.
5. Fine Tuning
Set pickup height, inspect wiring and clean potentiometers, clean output jack and ensure all hardware is in proper working order.
6. Final inspection and polish
Ensure all issues are corrected and final all-over polish.
