Don’t fret - refret.
It’s a fact of life - all guitar frets will wear over time.
Depending on the amount of fret wear a fret level and recrown may only be required (offered as part of my Deluxe Setup for electric guitars and Deluxe Setup for acoustic guitars). If the fret wear is too severe for this, then either a partial or full refret will be required.
Old frets are removed, taking care to not chip any wood surrounding the frets, then the fret slots are cleaned and new frets pressed in, fret ends beveled and rounded. Finally the frets are levelled, recrowned and polished to a high shine.
